INTRODUCTION

1064 ND YAG laser is a solid state laser capable of producing a near-infrared wavelength that penetrates deep into skin and is readily absorbed by hemoglobin and melanin chromophores. The lasing medium of ND YAG is a man-made crystal that is pumped by a high intensity lamp and placed into a resonator (a cavity capable of amplifying the power of the laser). By creating a variable long pulse duration and an appropriate spot size, it is possible to significantly heat deep skin tissues, such as large blood vessels and vascular lesions. Meantime the laser could heat the deep hair follicles while not damage the superficial skin tissue, so it’s a most ideal choice for dark skin, especially the type IV-VI.

1064 Nd:YAG laser energy is selectively absorbed by the deeper levels of the dermis and allows for treatment of deeper vascular lesions such as telangiectasias, hemangiomas and leg veins.The laser energy is delivered using long pulses which are converted into heat in the tissue. The heat impacts the vasculature of the lesions. In addition, the Nd:YAG Laser can treat at a more superficial level; by heating the subcutaneous skin (in a non-ablative manner) it stimulates neocollagenesis which improves the appearance of facial wrinkles.

1. Depilation of various types of skin: for black skin and sunburn skin (no artificial vitiligo phenomenon), especially suitable for Asian people;

3. Varicose veins of lower extremities less than 3 mm in diameter;

Compared with traditional long pulse 1064nm laser, long pulse 1064 laser model has lower absorptive capabilities for epidermal pigment and better hair absorption. Hair removal:limbs hair, axillary hair, beard, liphairs, etc

* Skin tightening

Skin tightening adopts an ultra-long pulse width(1.6 seconds) 1064nm laser for heating purpose, which enables the temperature to be instantly raised to about 40ºC in order to achieve a good tightening effect.

* Crystal skin cleansing

By adopting the patented technology of 1064 nm laser, the wavelength of the laser penetrates deeper than other fractional lasers and is also effectively absorbed by moisture, pigments and hemoglobin in the skin, which is then converted into heat energy.

* Acne-IN comparision with blue light therapy the effect is much better with higher recovery rate

Long pulse width 1064 nm wavelength has a better penetration depth, which can perform photothermal effect selectively on the sebaceous glands and propionibacterium acnes.
