What is the difference between Alexandrite and diode laser for hair removal?

The Alexandrite wavelength (755nm) is best for targeting lighter to dark hairs on skin types I to III (can easily get sunburns). An Alexandrite can also be used on skin type IV (olive skin) but with a bit more conservative energy settings. The diode wavelength (810nm) works on the same category of skin types and hairs but may not be as effective for lighter hairs. Really depends on skin type as to how far the intensity can be pushed to catch those lighter hairs. Darker skin types are treated with an Nd:YAG (1064nm).
